This shit is insane to me. The amount of whites that will consume media that hates them, encourages their division and antagonizes their mental health, like you can miss out on a show, it won’t ruin you. If you want to look back on the past and find examples of men belting their wives across the face for 'misbehavior' (i.e. telling him not to spend the wage on drink) you'd find this going on among the miserable lower classes, if anywhere. It wasn't done then for the same reasoning as we don't do it today.

I think, perhaps, this idea,

is based in the belief that "behavior" as we see it today is 100% artificial and imposed; that people do what they're programmed to do, there is some truth in this but the baseline predisposition of a people themselves is largely predetermined and unchanging and comes from their phsyiology.

e.g. men find it very hard to critique women and fall back onto the 'chilvalric white knight' preset; defending very evil women from supposed persecutors who may be completely innocent or wrongfully accused by the woman.

When you notice, then, that this preset is a constant from the 1100's (and prior) unchanged all the way up to the present then you can't blame the existence of "male weakness towards women" on any new or recent-modern beliefs or something, as it existed long long before any of these near-modern things did.

Witch trials, false accusation of sex crime ("he raped me - with his eyes!"), lynching of blacks in america for these reasons, etc. are identical in their causes to the modern twitter mob and their digital lynchings, for example...
