I need someone more blackpilled than Schopenhauer.

I'm thinking Mainlander, Michelstaedter, Bahnsen, someone. Any recommendations?

Buddha
He literally ate his cow dung, abandoned his family, ran naked in the woods on all fours hiding from civilization.
Schopenhauer just ate lunch alone most of his life.

What is a good biography of the Buddha?

I read something a while back, and it talked about how he left his father's palace grounds and then lived begging food but then decided that it wasn't necessary that he live such a beggarly life in order to be virtuous etc.

Schopenhauer was not blackpilled and was actually very life affirming, both in his life and in his philosophy

Emil Cioran is great
The trouble with being born, A short history of decay, drawn and quartered, on the heights of despair

He wrote a lot

>> No.20438389

>>20438376
He wrote a lot while being a depressed shut in who hated life and living...
Why even bother writing? He valued his life enough to hope that what he wrote would live on. He must have felt that the existence he was experiencing in those moments was worth being remembered.
Other wise why not just die and fade into obscurity? If it all as bad as he makes out then why did he bother to write about it?

He just wanted recognition without the fear of responsibility.
He was afraid. A child imitating a man.

He wrote so he wouldn’t shoot himself. At the end of the day he found meaning in what he did. Even if it was small and still hated life, he didn’t hate it enough to off himself. Isn’t that the point?

>Bahnsen
You sort of cannot go darker.

I mean, who else believes that life is suffering, all existence is suffering, and death does not alleviate the suffering?

Essentially he was the prototypical "failure to launch". If he had strength of will or perhaps adequate self realisation he could have found that small meaning of life and turned it into something of greater significance to him and in doing so escaped the shackles of his depression.

I imagine you probably pictured a destination or ideal as to what the end result of becoming means.
If you did you failed at the first hurdles and are condemn to writhe in the mess of experiencing your existence through the lens of the masses.
