Does writing your thoughts down make you better at expressing them to others? Does writing them down help you understand yourself better? I keep seeing posts on Instagram saying how important it is to write.

I just pace back and forth to collect my thoughts. writing is not useful, unless you need to present them in writing, but in that case writing your thoughts is your task anyway.

Explaining your thoughts to others will make you better at expressing your thoughts, simple as. It doesn't mean you should specifically write or speak. Although the more you write the better your writing skill becomes, considering complex syntax structures and stylistics.

I would say so.It starts like mindless scribbling but then you start to think and weight every word and thought and your sort of put yourself together. For me writing, meditation and reading are just ways to untie the knots in my brain.I have a habit of writing long replies of insults or advices and never post them.Next time pick a picture that isn't a nigger caricature
