So, I just picked up a copy of Naked Lunch, and I loved the film. Is the book any better, or different?

The book is basically a series of rambling drug addled vignettes. The asshole that can talk story from the movie is nearly word for word from the book.

The movie was about how the book came to be written. I loved the movie but couldn't get past page one of the novel.

Read Junky instead, that was a good read.
