The new witcher books have the 'Now on Netflix' printed onto the fucking cover. It would've been fine if it was a fucking sticker. It's a shame because the covers actually look good but are marred by this shitty Netflix logo.

Yes. Book covers are designed specifically to target a certain demographic, so it's entirely normal to be attracted or repulsed by a cover. The phrase comes from a time when all covers were plain. Though new covers are getting worse with all the cgi shit they keep putting out.
