Unless you're old as fuck, most young people listen to classical musical to be contrarian snobs or actually don't appreciate music at all and just use it as a cover for thinking these arbitrary symphonies and orchestral suites make the "white race" better but the same fucktards themselves can't even play an instrument. Classical music sucks which is why /mu/ classical general is the /pol/ containment general of this board. You need spice and flavor in your life and these elements come from experience, not a vacuum. Give me infidelity. Give me the underdogs. Give me someone who was persecuted for being gay. Give me a disadvantaged guy society had written off because of the color of his skin. Basically that is where talent lays because it's life itself and life is art baby. Even the dumbest pop songs have something classical lacks. And that is being genuine.

I honestly don't get Wagner. There is something terribly awkward in his music as in Nietzsche's philosophy and Germans in general. This desperate wish to be great but producing only an artifice of greatness which sounds self-conscious and therefore awkward. Probably some derivation from Luther's insanity. All true greatness is never self-conscious and is almost accidental. Italians, Slavs and even the hopeless English sound greater and less self-conscious about it than any German production.

Hardly. Yes there is technically far less runtime in Wagner's oeuvre than in Bach's, but that's because what Bach spreads out in reproducible forms Wagner instead puts into singular works of gigantic size.

Just because you can't comprehend another's enjoyment doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I think modern music genuinely is boring and it stresses me out. I listen to Classical and Tin Pan Alley. Your music really sounds boring and there isn't really any skill involved. Try composing a piece of classical music, then write a rap song or rock song. Lyrical shit is way easier to write than a song that simply captivates by sheer complexity. It's ok if you aren't smart enough, I don't even mean that passive aggressively.
