Were the chapters regarding the atmosphere of the lockdown deliberately composed in a way to be, for lack of a better word, boring? Maybe I'm just a retard, but the overly-detailed description regarding the daily routines and setbacks associated with the lockdown seem like it was Camus' way of trying to give the reader insight into what it must be like waiting out the plague.
