I buy most of my books in hardcover but read all of them on my phone (or Calibre), it's very convenient and has built-in dictionaries (ESL here) and other useful software tools. Having the books right next to me gives me a greater sense of ownership and also motivation to actually read them; and on top, I have something nice to look at.

this is a worst question because they vary very much upon first read or re-read
for example the case of charles dexter ward I enjoyed the most on the first read, but re-reading it is boring AF
