Great thread. Though I have a question, you have two places where you put "Start Here". So if I start with Nietzsche, and then get to Evola through Nietzsche, then what do I do? Do I go from The Will straight to Ride The Tiger as in the chart? Because if I went through Guenon, it leads to revolt against the world. So theoretically, once I finish all of Nietzsche's works, what should I read? Does it matter/ am I looking too much into it? Also thanks Dago for good posts on this board

okay yeah so you can start at either point depending on your interest. If you ever check out a typical Evola book's index, Guenon and Nietzsche are by far the most mentioned people and he essentially tries to synthesize the two authors.
>So if I start with Nietzsche, and then get to Evola through Nietzsche, then what do I do?
go ahead and read Ride the Tiger. like half of the book is Nietzsche talk.
Then I would go to Guenon's start here and work your way down to Revolt and then sideways back to Ride the Tiger and re-read it.
The important prerequisite before reading Revolt is to have a solid understanding of Guenon's 'Tradition'. Once that clicks you will be able to grasp Evola easily.

>Does it matter/ am I looking too much into it?
im on 4chinz (pol and lit) all the time, if you ever see me feel free to ask questions. I've read every book by the three authors and can help guide you along.

not personally a fan of this guide.

the mind illuminated is trash. swap that out for How to Meditate by Yuttadhammo Bhikku and/or Mindfulness in Plain English by Bhante Gunaratana.

In the Buddha's words is a good text no doubt, but its much easier to just read the Dhammapada with stories/context and the Udana.

The heart sutra can be read before going to Nagarjuna. and Nagarjuna's letter to a friend with tibetan commentary is another very useful text.

This whole thread is teenagers posting groups of vaguely related books to adopt as fashions rather than for any genuine attempt at understanding reality. Don't expect anyone here to care about any systematic chronological approach to literature

No it's just that with a lot of them it feels as though that the person who made the chart didn't read most if not all of the books on it. Like they'll link books with don't or barely have any connection with one another in terms of its contents, they'll forget really obvious picks, or if the chart has categories they'll put some of the books in the wrong ones.

If you want any good recommendations for political books I'd recommend either looking at the footnotes of a book you like and see if the author has something like "for an excellent critique of X or excellent point on Y read Z" or look up to see if the author or any of the modern followers of the author has ever made some sort of bibliography on good books, and if you can't find something like that then it doesn't hurt to just email the person / their followers.

Some of the things that stand out the most are:
The essay The Use of Knowledge in Society is already in the book Individualism and Economic Order, why is it its own separate thing next to the book?
Why is Choice and The Mises Reader next to Human Action and MES? Choice is a beginner's version of HA and should be moved down to the novice section, the Mises Reader is likewise a bunch of excerpts from Mises' books it should also be moved down if you even want to put it on the list.
What does What Has Government Done to Our Money and The Road to Serfdom have to do with one another? I don't even think The Road to Serfdom talks about money, and also what does it have to do with A Theory of Socialism and Capitalism? At most you could maybe draw a connection between the two in terms of calling central planning bad but even then Hoppe disregards Hayek's idea of a "knowledge problem," not in this book necessarily but still.
Why is Chaos Theory so high up? The book is meant to be an introduction and is only 70 pages long.
In the refutation section why is the refutation for Keynes Human Action? HA is a good book but it's such an obvious pick to instead choose Hazlitt's The Failure of New Economics, the book literally meant to be a refutation of Keynes' book.
Likewise why is John Rawl's refutation Anarchy, State, and Utopia? I get that book was actually meant to be a refutation but it fucking sucks and is super fucking boring to read, Ethics of Liberty should've been put there instead.
Mises' book Socialism is fine as a refutation for Marx but why isn't Bohm Bawerk's Karl Marx and the Close of His System also included? That book was designed to be a refutation to Marx specifically after he released the third volume of his book Das Kapital.
For books that weren't included, why isn't For a New Liberty and Egalitarianism as a Revolt against Nature on the list? The former is meant to be a manifesto on Libertarianism.
Also remove Ayn Rand from the precursors of Ancap list she fucking sucks.

I could go on with the list but you get the main gist. I don't want to make a chart because I don't feel like it. If you actually want to know what to read though just look up Hans-Hermann Hoppe's article "Anarcho Capitalism: An Annotated Bibliography"
