pretty sure richest man in babylon can be summed up as "save money. lend money and charge interest". the advice about saving up physical money just to feel the sheer weight of it is legit. It's so short you could read it in the bookstore aisle and put it back. Any book there has its merits, it's just people fall into the self-help trap and ONLY read self-help. It's nice to read occasionally just to refresh yourself on the language of being a go-getter

Meditations is not like the others. That one, you actually should have already read

Meditations is the only one worth reading here, but you shouldn’t stop there, read Seneca and Epictetus as well.

>> No.20207860

>Meditations
>The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck
>Siddhartha
>Atomic Habits
>How to Win Friends and Influence People
The only book on there worth reading is Siddhartha, and it's best read in your teens, not your 20's. Meditations too, as long as you're reading it as stoic philosophy and not as a heckin life-changing book written by a Roman Emperor. The rest is bog standard self help with advice that's either pretty obvious or useless. Like >>20204835 said, read one a year to refresh your mindset.

>>20204537
As a guy who works for Amazon corporate, I can tell by the title that it's going to be ~300 pages of deepthroating the leadership principles. However, that probably means that it was actually written by Jeff (or someone very close to him), because he treats those principles like commandments from God. He wouldn't trust an infidel to interpret his holy texts.
