Any recommendations of books on Young Hegelians? I don't really have time to read them at the source so I'm looking for a solid monograph on the topic. Best thing I found is Breckman's 'MARX, THE YOUNG HEGELIANS, AND THE ORIGINS OF RADICAL SOCIAL THEORY' but don't know shit about it, not really interested that much in Marx alone either. Is it any good? Is there something better?

I don't know of any full length studies but Tucker's Philosophy and Myth in Marx, and Kolakowski's Main Currents, both have introductory sections on the Young Hegelians that are pretty substantial, and Sidney Hook's From Hegel to Marx is practically entirely devoted to the Young Hegelians / Left Hegelians.

I'd also really recommend Feuerbach by Marx Wartofsky, very good
