Not Wuxia but very similar; Outlaws of the Marsh. TONS of characters, lots of action, some nice arcs, and the humor stands up pretty well even to this day. I recommend reading Three Kingdoms first though, since it's referenced a lot

I have read like 40-50 different 1000 chapter xianxia novels, used to read like 4 hours a day during school. I think Coiling Dragon is a good entry novel. A Will Eternal, and I Will Seal the Heavens are both very good. Anything by Er Gen probably is.
