For me it's this badboy, it's also the last book I've read. Took me almost the entire week just to get through the first 30 pages, and then it clicked with me and I read the rest in a day. Probably my favourite book, at least the one that I've only read for the first time, of the year so far.

Do you agree with Falconieri’s outlook here? It seems to me that as much as he tried to uphold the values of the revolution, he never fully shed his aristocratic values.

For me it is The Master and Marguerita. That book was completely baffling to me on my first read but over the years I've had experiences in life and have read other books that keep bringing me back to it. I really owe it a reread now that I feel ready for it.

Not until Jason’s section.
Totally lost on Benjy’s section
Lost about half the time in Quentin’s section. Suddenly in Jason’s section I understood Benjy’s section and Quentin’s section.

I finished Hunger by Hamsun today and it went similar, found it kind of hard to get into (i think because i had other things to do the last couple of weeks), but yesterday it clicked and i finished it today. A really funny and insightful book! Will soon be reading more Hamsun
