Onionrings! You are back! Thank god.

>> No.2010119

I haven't read it, but I'd like to read it one day (18 year old here).

What should I have read before I start? Aside from Dubliners (which I have read) and Portrait of the Artist (which I have not)? I understand it's got a lot of allusion in it - a technique I've never paid much attention to, and don't fully understand.

Anything else I should bear in mind?

Just start reading it. Portrait is a good preparation because it introduces Stephen Dedalus but it isn't necessary.
