Nah it was a covid thing that they never changed back. You also can't request books if they're checked out so I've had The Essential Goethe checked out for over a year now. The only people who check out books are grad students and faculty so I don't feel too bad about it.

The bookstore I go to has been giving out complementary bookmarks with every sale for a few years now, so I mostly use those. In the past I used receipts, folded pieces of notebook paper (common when I was in school), and even old sticks of unusable RAM.
