What are the odds that a literary agent will simply call the cops on you for submitting a transgressive novel?

>> No.20073860

Depends if you're white

What kind of reality do you live in?
Stop being so obsessed with trannies for fuck's sake.

>> No.20073950

you can murder the cops because the cops are acting as traitors and are therefore subject to summary execution
you can kill the judge if he disagrees
eventually people decide that pledging their loyalty to you is worth their miserable lives and they stop being target practice for you

what makes you think op is obsessed with trannies????

>> No.20074011

Literally zero.
There are books published today that depict things so ‘transgressive’ they’d make you nauseous. Nothing about race realism and 4chan nemesis edgy irl. Grow the fuck up.

If it's actually trangressive they're high, if it's "trangressive" don't worry, publishers and consumers love "trangressive" art.

Slim to none. That said, do your homework, figure out which agents will actually want to read your misogynist screed or whatever it is

>> No.20075905

Actually transgressive as a response to Sade, it's written in a way that presumes to take up the mantle.
>>20075724
You say slim to none and he says very high, fight fight fight. I just don't want an FBI raid in response to a book manuscript, y'know. I'm just wondering how instinctive it would be for them to go for the panic button. I think the astronomically high quality and evident literary genius would offset the risk somewhat but I'm also living with my parents while I write it (I'm 20 relax) and don't want to have to explain my writing to cops while they sit there and tear their clothes.

Like they took you in for you to write it but they don't know what it's about?

>> No.20075974

Is the novel about an aspiring but unhinged author stalking and eventually murdering a literary agent? I hope it is, I'd read that.

>> No.20076001

Ya. I conjured images of Fitzgerald circa Paradise to explain my plans and they assume I'm attempting the GAN. In reality I'm attempting basically its evil twin.

Unless you already have a record of doing such things then the police/fbi are not even going to bother with you beyond putting a hashmark in a file under your name. As long as you are not ranting about real people needing to be killed or the like, you will be fine.

>t. plotfag
>>20075905
In the case the FBI/cops showing up it will not be a raid unless they have reason to believe you are dangerous, most likely they will just knock on your door and ask if they could have a chat.

Alright that's a huge relief, thanks.

The FBI isn't going to raid you over a book manuscript unless you are very directly explaining plans for a terrorist attack in it. You say you aim to 'take up the mantle of de Sade,' and I think you're probably safe to do so. Many such books have been written and remain in circulation. Can you further explain what makes your novel transgressive, and why you're worried about this?

>> No.20076102

>>20076041
I don't want to go into too much detail, just suffice to say that it's as thorough as Sade and in a way even moreso, because there's actually a certain distance in the way he presents things, always an ironic tone and never psychological, whereas mine is in stream of consciousness and focuses on the psychological effects, which makes it more realistic and therefore more shocking. So because I don't really know where the line is with literary agents as far as the transgressive goes I'm concerned I'm going to rocket well past it and wake up to complications lmao.

Listen man, it's 2018. Nobody is gonna be legitimately shocked by your story where a woman gets decapitated while she's being gang raped or whatever. At worst they will just think it's in poor taste.

Unless you're telling the story of raping and eating children (or something similar) with such detail that you were actually there, no.
