Yes. I wrote some of my best stuff while in relationships, although I don't think it was due to anything unique about the woman inspiring me (we Greeks have a saying: there are three evils in the world - the sea, fire and woman. Take heed). It's easy getting lost in abstractions and losing track of the goal when writing. A woman acts as a limit and a goalpost for your creative output. "Will she like what I write?" you ask yourself knowing that you don't really care. But at least someone will read it and that's motivation enough to finish it. Good luck. In Christ, Anon.
