As many of you are well aware, Dakota Warren recently published a poetry collection entitled 'On Sun Swallowing'. The OP image is the pre-orders for her book waiting to be shipped. Now, the book cost $20.00, shipping not included. It was published by a brand-new independent press, which really isn't a press but a lifestyle website created by two 'YASS TRAVEL' whores. So you can imagine that Dakota is receiving the bulk of the profits from the sale of her book. There are a lot of pre-orders in that image. Probably over 100, each at $20, and assuming Dakota gets a 50/50 split, she made at least $1000. However I believe she sold many more and made much more money off this enterprise. She is a coombait TikTok whore, so doubtless many of her sex-addled coomer followers bought the book. But guess what Ms. Warren is doing now after the success of her novel? That's right, she is fucking off with the money to T R A V E L. Now I don't have a problem with this. If retards want to give her money because they think she will have sex with them because they 'supported her' then more power to Dakota. But my concern is about whether this is the future of publishing. It seems nowadays you need an image or cult of personality first if you want to successfully sell a book or even get published. And then at that point it doesn't matter if the product is shit because you have a loyal fanbase who will gladly eat your shit and call it caviar. I mean we see this in the political sphere with Trump. We're now seeing it in the literary sphere with Dakota Warren and R.C Waldun. I think it's over fellas. I think the forthcoming era of R.C Walduns and Dakota Warrens will finally kill literature as an art form.

Waldun isn't good enough to be a real author, and he isn't enough of a celebrity to have a ghost writer. Therefore, he is just a more minor version of the celebrity "author". Think about how media and celebrity have changed. They are more grassroots. Newscasters work off webcams. Dancers are on TikTok, not Broadway. Just be aware that we are entering a massive folkish revival. This is the fall of Rome, and that's not so bad. My point is that there is a lot more choice now than ever before. For instance, I am a fan of heavy metal, primarily 70s - 80s, but I hate some of the big, commercial, mainstream names like Van Halen, Guns n Roses, etc. I like Diamond Head, Rainbow, early Metallica, Judas Priest. Because of the technology that has made talentless hacks famous, I have access to talented musicians famous. I couldn't stroll into a record store in my town and get the Buried Alive single by Blitzkrieg. I would be able to get an abundance of Van Halen, however. With YouTube, I can find that single and get it for free. There is a thread right now, and in it, a guy says he read 3/4 of his local library. That sucks. I don't want to live like that. I want to be able to get some obscure book off Amazon or Libgen that speaks to me, rather than some Brad Thor book that speaks to no one.
