It’s on my reading list of books I’ll read in the future once I’m more well read. I only read books it they’re pitched to me in the TedEd animations “why you should read” It’s what got me to read Dune :)

i know i'll be crucified for this but here goes: does anyone know of some resource containing just the essay parts of w&p? online or whatever. i ask because i heard w&p contains essays on war and how little control individuals have.

It's a great book, but it focuses on character relations, philosophy, and is very slow paced.

It's true. I don't know if there are any releases with just the essays. I suppose you can just find a free pdf and skip to the relevant chapters. I'm not sure why you would though. It's all a great read.
