I have an audible credit I'd like to burn but don't want to waste it on a book I won't finish

I mostly listen to nonfiction books on there but am open to literally any suggestions

Are there any good ones on there you'd recommend?

IIRC Green eggs and ham by Dr. Seuss is read by Jason Alexander.
I'm not even joking, that's gotta be worth a look.

I really enjoyed listening to Waterland by Graham Swift

Any of those books that should really just be an extended op-ed or magazine article. Like Malcolm Gladwell or Nassim Taleb type books.

Can you narrow it down some? What type of nonfiction do you read?

This thread sucks.

Get yourself an expensive one cheap with the credit. Rig Veda was $60, but it's taken me a year to get close to finishing. I finished a lot of medical books like Grain Brain shortly.
Salt Fat Acid Heat was hard to follow because I was learning so much so I just read it instead.
The Advent of the Algorithm was the most didactic but painful and poorly written.

If you like scifi this is 85 hours long. Worth a credit I think.

Find a good book you like by a narrator you can enjoy on librivox for free and then find the same book on audible and spend your credit there

I'm more of a fan of the sci-fi masterpieces of the In the Black trilogy by Patrick S. Tomlinson
