Ever resting/relaxing (besides as far as is necessary to do the good most effectively) or avoiding pain are essentially hedonistic. Even doing the good with a relaxed pace instead of with strenuous and exhausting zeal is hedonistic and negligent. Prove me wrong.

that's as far as you're indeed doing slow it for maximum efficiency, and not for your own comfort, in which case it should still be strenuous
