Astoundingly good worldbuilding, the magic system is almost non-existent though. The main character would would summon Yamnaya steppe warriors to take on the entire national guard in one scene, and then in the next be running away from a single police officer. It made no sense.

If you got your hands on a first edition (good fucking luck), a modern adventure with occasional guides towards federally actionable activities. Otherwise pretty good revolutionary fiction. The writing is decent, not exceptional or terrible, and for something written 50 years ago is visionary in many things.
