Have you read this before? How did you find it?

Started reading, I can't stand the pretentious know-it-all tone in it. I much prefer Fredy Perlman or Wolfi Landstreicher when it comes to wanting to burn this world.
Came across it cause I'm an anarchist, and it's for some reason (probably Glen Beck) big in anarchist circles.

Really? I felt the opposite, that it was written really childishly. I remember there being a lot of bitching about school, stuff like that.

My dad gave me a copy because he watched Glenn Beck and wants me to "know thy enemy." He's read The Communist Manifesto, Rules for Radicals and every other entry-level kiddie-revolutionary text that conservafags know about.

I haven't read it and I have too many likely better books on my shelf to ever get around to it.

This comic is very amusing. It implies that anarchism and communism have always been opposed and that's not true. Hilarious.

Well, it implies that anarchists and Marxists have their differences, including a history of killing each other, like in the Spanish Civil War. I've definitely heard each speaking very derisively about the other. Of course they're compatible in many ways, but they definitely have their issues with each other.

Just because two factions are on the same end of the political spectrum or are a part of a wider group (anarchists and communists, for example) doesn't mean they are always going to agree with each other. You have collectivist anarchists, egoist anarchists, anarcho-capitalists, authoritarian communists, libertarian socialists, etc.

>> No.1999366

>>1999341

Anarcho-capitalists aren't even really anarchists, though.

Even by their own logic it's true. To an ancap, anything less than pure capitalism is socialism. "anarcho"-capitalism is pure capitalism. So it's at least redundant to prefix it with anarcho- if you don't recognize anything less as capitalism.

Anarchist capitalism would be the ultimately liberalized capitalism though. No general incorporation, no hierarchy of power. Just producer and consumer.

>> No.2001220

right, because it's possible to ascribe those societal roles to people without a state. You just have to have an unquestioned class dictatorship and not acknowledge it's the same thing.

Don't worry kid, you were just imagining a utopia, but, even as far as the impractical notion of utopia goes, rather ineptly.

capitalism is undemocratic
