I really don't get this. Dogs and animals closely related to them have some of the most powerful bloodrage impulses of all Nature. I mean, they are basically tiny bears or larger wolverines. Obviously, if the dog has jaw muscles that'll allow him to chew through your arm without difficulty, you are taking a fucking risk.
Most breeds have had their combat reflexes reduced to a minimum by selection, but some don't, and unless you are very well trained, a combat breed will fucking murder you.

That's kind of a meme, if you mean the lockjaw thing. They just have an insanely powerful bite. If you get attacked by a dog, one of the tricks they teach you in self-defense courses is to allow it to bite your forearm (ideally you wrap your shirt or coat around it first), then when he starts pulling you grab the back of its neck in a vice and you push down your arm into its mouth while pressing hard around its neck with your other arm. 15-20 seconds of that the dog will pass out and let go.
With pitts the problem is that they are actively chewing through your arm while you do that, and for someone smaller or a teenager, the pitt might actually be strong enough to just rip your arm off altogether.

It's really just women who popularized the breed. Look how it's always women who insist so much that pits are not bad, they think they can tame them or something. It's the same reason why women love violent men. I've witnessed these stories firsthand where the girl would get abused her ugly manlet boyfriend and she loved him more and more every time he beat her. Really if you treat a woman with love and respect all the time she cheats on you or she simply stops loving you and breaks up. It's quite uncanny and sad but it's real, women just love being abused. They love violent, unstable people and despise kindness or whatever. The intelligent women instead love wealthy people because they are mentally evolved enough to associate wealth with power, but only if they're wealthy in some kind of unethical way. If you're a nice man who happens to be wealthy they will still fuck another man while you're not at home. It's just women.

However, I think the relationship between man and dog can be a pure and excellent one, especially when the dog is trained very well. Have you ever read in the Bible that I ordinated affection is a sin? Because humans are sinful we are definitely able to corrupt a good thing God has given us, like pets. To pretend a dog is your child is inordinate affection, it’s too much. This makes actions that the pit mommy would make unreasonable and sinful.
I preached the gospel to all creatures but we have to understand that we as humans are capable of inordinate affection. That being said, it isn’t a sinful to love your dog, but to love your dog more than a stranger is.
