How many English translations of this are there? If there's more than one, which does /lit/ prefer?

I don't now if it's the best but the Perenial Classics translation by Gregory Rabassa seems to be really popular.

It's also my preffered version.

Thanks! I've been doing some research and it looks like the Rabassa translation is the only one out there.

I think Rabassa is the only translator.

I didn't care for this novel much, but consider reading Octavio Paz's The Labyrinth of Solitude after. I feel like the two compliment each other well, even if they deal with different locations.
