etc. etc.

It looks like you wrote this off the top of your head in about 2 minutes then clicked "submit." I give it a 1/10, just because you have a pulse.

I was actually brain storming and trying to get the words for what exactly I was thinking about and how it felt.
If I were to progress this style and it was more polished, how would you feel about it?

You mean if you were to actually write a poem instead of this garbage?

Well, I'd have to see the poem and not this garbage, wouldn't I?

yes, I meant that. I was talking about the flow, the bouncing idea in it. You don´t have to be a dick about just because you´re anon

Well, if it's like anything, it's like Tape for the Turn of the Year by Ammons. Which I like. But it's not as good as the long-lined Ammons like Garbage or I Went to the Summit.

For some reason, I liked it because I feel like I totally understand your train of thought. I don't know. It seemed pretty honest. But I like the things in your head, OP, and I would want to see how your brainstorming took shape in whatever else you were writing.

Here's a cat.

Well, the second stanza really reminds me of my own thought process when I try to do these sorts of 'train of thought' exercises in writing. It's really hard to both record your immediate thoughts while trying to block out the fact that you're recording it, your hand is moving, and you're putting down letters! The "clichéd" and the "don't think" in your poem really pinpoint the difficultness of this kind of writing for me. I identified with it.

That's why I said it seemed 'honest'--I'm not sure if you intended it or whatever. For me, these kinds of poems are really fun to read when you think you know where the author is coming from, in a way, and you can try to pick apart their thought process.

I´ve painted more than I have written so my creative process revolves around trowing out ideas and then balancing them out.
For me the two stanzas are opposites fighting, but unsure who they are. I was trying to capture that moment of inner battle when mind is going really fast.

The top one could also represent authority being bent by freedom. And the latter freedom wondering if it should keep fighting or give up follow the authority.
