Did you know that there were actually black elves in Tolkien's Middle Earth, but at the beginning of the First Age their last citadels fell? They were allowed to migrate as refugees to the cities of the "fair" (white) elves, but the elves used magic on them to make them infertile, so they would die out quickly. They told them that they were actually making them healthier by doing this and incentivized them to accept the ritual, and by the time the black elves realized they were now sterile, it was too late.

Can you believe that? What kind of sick fucking monsters would do that? The elves are really twisted people.
