There is surprisingly not that many greats. The most famous parts of the Old Testament appear lifted from or analogous to other neighboring cultures' stories, and the New Testament was written by Greeks either writing in typical Hellenic fashion (lots of Homeric/classical parallels in the NT) or riffing off the Septuagint.
