It's funny you say that because the Second Apocalypse is largely about the Dunyain and their attempts to attain the Absolute (full immanence and knowledge, God as immanent) through the guidance of the Logos. But as the Survivor notes, the obsession with only the Logos is missing something, some sort of "spirit." For the survivor, it was the love for his son that helped him understand the Absolute better, and this follows Hegel, where love is key as the identification of the self in otherness.
