How does /lit/ personally read a book? Can be fiction, non-fiction, whatever.

Do you take notes while read? Do you re-read books? Any habits are welcome to share. Just want to explore other people's techniques.

i just stare at the goddamn thing until i'm done.
i like to read outside when it's sunny or in public transports.
I never take notes but maybe i should for non-fiction or for particularly bad fiction when i want to leave a devastating review later.
I don't really re-read books because there is a shit ton of shit i want to read, but i will in the future, pinky swear.
