Any hope for this poor soul?

Go into any modern bookstore out there and look at the books they put out. Everything that isn’t a republished classic has nothing new or interesting to say.

So worry not, you’ll fit right in with the modern publishing industry.

Write about philosophy, specifically post- modern philosophy. Its very interesting and you can basically justify fascism without other postmodernists noticing it because they have no idea what they are doing.

Invent an exclusive vocabulary of your own appropriated words rooted in French, Latin, or biology (Greek-rooted terms work well). Stuff like “haecceity,” “rhizomatic,” “deterritorialization,” “nomadology” and others should do the trick. That way you can abstract the bare meaning of your text so remotely away from what is written on the page that a three-fold exegesis is necessary for the average person to even follow the train of logic you present. It’s all about aesthetics and esotericism, anon.

Kek, the perception around fascism has become so warped after ww2 that you may actually be right.

I have yet to come across a novel that captures the way I feel about the strange times we live in. If you share that feeling, then that means you also have a sense that something is missing, and you can pursue expressing that lack as an artistic project.

I dont believe this. Even if you're just 18 recall memories that stirred you and analyze them. Maybe there is a theme in your life or some youre passionate about. Whatever keeps you up at night or you might talk a long time about. Dont be astonished if youre at a loss of words occasionally, just back up and ask questions. Follow multiple trails. Many people want to hear the same story in a new way so remember that, but if you want to offer something new you must challenge yourself constantly with new ideas. Ive read transhumanists and pessimists both and I believe none of it, but it built my perspective.
A lot of wild things have happened in your lifetime and yet we have changed literary perspective much. We havent been in a world war but we might feel warred against, how did that change how you feel about man or society? Offer a new way of story telling maybe, not genre tropes or postmodern. Share your feelings and tell it the 21st century way, one sincere and not mocking.

Find your insperation outside of common feedpools.
>B-but I wanna make a magic girl super hero light novel about teen drama!

Study history, philosophy, language, biology; pretty much anything that partains to your idea and suckle insperation out of it.

Throw away contemperary media, dont watch the big guys currently doing things right now for insperation.

>>19844296
This, if you want fame or money your not going to want to be a writer.

I love nature, when I want insperation for a landscape, I literally climb a fuckng cliff or slink into a cave for ideas. I grapple my notes and sketches into my journal; then sticky it out. Plot idea goes here, character goes there, that sort of thing. I make character boards, generate mood text for scenery, then assemble them together to make something I think is decent. Then edit about a dozen times until every sentence is perfect. Even then im no where near as professional as I want to be.

It's not even political, its just plain lazy.

Personally, if you have something you want to say, no matter how generic, try it. If you fail, great. Its one step forward. It's bound to be 100 times better than whats on Deviantart.

yeah no shit you have nothing to say. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote populist serialized fiction that most people "of class" regarded as barely better than we treat The Funny Pages on any newspaper today. Yet, now we look back on his writings and realize that no, he's actually a genuinely good storyteller and that's why a lot of people liked him.
Stop trying to be pretentious and "say something" and instead just focus on writing a good book, and the things you want to say will come naturally.
For example, my take on 1984 is that George Orwell looked around at the USSR and the Axis powers and said "huh, why don't I write a book about what it means to live in a world like that?" And he did, and it's a classic. Look around you anon, we live in tumultuous times. If you're not so braindead and devoid of personality and creativity you'll find your voice in the storm.

I used to fret terribly about being a quality poet with something profound to say. Then I started writing Brad Thor tier action shit and gained a truly appreciative audience. It's been fun.
