Discipline. It's very difficult to have. You're human, nothing more.

Some people will suggest programs that cut off your access to internet, sites, programs, but these are all just crutches for your lack of discipline.

Precise, hourly schedule. It helped me a lot.
Sometimes I skip part of it but most of the time I don't. So it's worth it.
If I told myself "I should really read this stuff", then I'd just spend my time on 4chan doing nothing, like before.
My day is divided into 4 parts: leisure, reading technical books, actual work and reading classics.
My productivity increased a fuckton.
