My main issue with Abrahamic religions: That its soteriology hinges on faith in revelation that's treated as external from one's mind rather than penetrating the true nature of one's own mind; I would further argue the true nature of mind lies in the indeterminate border of existence and non-existence, which means it is empty (Shunyata), but regardless, skillful means (upaya) are only possible if you privilege the mind's capacity for awakening to its true nature over clinging to any externalities, which naturally leads to the One Vehicle (Ekayana).

Name some readings that touch on this.

so if someone would believe in something akin to "exclusive salvation" it would necessarily claim that everyone belonging to a group would simply just have to collectively "be" on the same wavelength mentally? sounds cultish.

I recommend Bodhidharma's Bloodstream Sermon and Lankavatara Sutra. There was a lot of Yogocharan influence in initial development of Ch'an.

Isn't that basically Unitarianism? Beatrix Potter was a Unitarian for example. I guess you could consider her the Bodhisattva of Britain.

No, go and read the Song of Solomon, the language used throughout the Bible of Israel being God’s bride (Hosea 2:16-20, Isaiah 62:5, 2 Corinthians 11:2, John 17, etc). This is wholly orthodox and no need for weird liberal strains of Christianity needed. It’s teaching śuddha-bhakti. Altogether not too different in some respects from Krishna’s dance with the gopis

On the contrary. Christianity recognizes the true nature of man's own mind as fallen and unreliable, and that thus to look for answers within is a fruitless venture. This is why the pajeet religions have stagnated.

That's a good point. Can you really give a whole lot of weight to your thoughts, if you're mentally unwell? They could be truthful, but they could also be the workings of a crazy person. Same should be true for all mind states.

Splitting, takeovers and "factionalism" happens in all groups, from terrorism to pony club, its called "schism" and is natural as plants growing when they get water, its just people realigning their support in view of what they perceive to be their "true" advantage, in short "groups" are not static entities but dynamic confluences.

That’s completely false. Christians talk about having a personal relationship with Jesus all the time. The Holy Ghost is said to dwell within us after we are baptized. Through our lives we are conformed to the divine nature.

Why do you want to worship yourself? We crave to be united with God in his divine nature, to become like God ourselves. That’s what it means to be a Christian.
