Get yourself to be taught in college/high school for the next 60 years - you're set.

Prostitution is also a good inspiration for any novels you might write in the future. Think of all the interesting people you'd meet.

Write edgy "mature" fantasy. It seems to be in at the moment.

But no, to make a living as a writer get a job as a journalist or something because it's hard to make money from writing only books. Plus if you're a journo you get inspiration for your writing. But more importantly you get to be part of a circle where you will have people write up great pieces on your works, even if they're shit. (See every piece of fiction written by a journalist, ever!)

There you have it then. My favourite literature approaches essay writing, since I view the description and characterization as wholly superficial.

Much like other careers, to be a successful writer, you need a couple things.
>1. A friend with connections. Without this, most likely you won't be insanely successful, no matter if you write books, articles, or joke books.
>2. Talent for your style of writing.

That's it. Good luck.
