A few years back I worked in a school that was going through renovation. That summer the main building was going to be knocked down and all the teachers spent two days clearing out their classroom and cupboards and dumping all the books they had in the hall to be carted off for charity or recycling or pulp. I got such a fucking good haul that day, nearly broke my back trying to lug it all home. The other members of staff thought I was a weirdo for wanting the books but oh well.

Try to get work in schools, anons, there's tons of good books there shut up in cupboards that nobody wants and won't be missed.
