Hola a todos!

Este es el hilo oficial de literatura hispánica o literatura en español. Discutan aquí sus autores, y obras favoritos, u opinen sobre lo que quieran acerca de lo relativo a la literatura de esta la segunda lengua más hablada en el mundo, y la segunda lengua con más hablantes nativos en toda el mundo.

This is the official thread of Hispanical literature or literature in Spanish. You can discuss here your favorite authors, and works, or comment on anything relating to the literature of this the second most spoken language in the world, and the second language on the whole world with most native speakers.

I'm a native Spanish speaker but I find myself unwilling to read literature in my language since more than a year. Anyone else has gone through something like this?
Anyway. The last book in Spanish that I've read was Maria, I thought it was pretty heartwarming.

Nice thread. I made a thread yesterday about beginner spanish literature recommendations. I live in a place where spanish is spoken everywhere, so it’s about time that I learn it.

A ambos les recomiendo leer La Celestina de Fernando de Rojas o El Sueño de Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, para recuperar el interés en la literatura hispánica.

Escriban su top 10 de autores hispánicos. El español es mi lengua nativa pero sólo he leído a unos cuantos, por lo que me gustaría saber cuál es el consenso promedio de /lit/. Como las reading guides y los top 100s, sería genial tener unas listas similares exclusivas de literatura hispánica.

I'm not a Spanish speaker but I can almost read it by intuition. I also speak a latin based language and every word is almost identical to the words of my language. Is it wprth learning it for /lit/ purposes? I admit I know nothing about Spanish /lit/ besides that novel. You know the one.

Yes, it's also practical, a LOT of people speak Spanish you ought to learn the language bruh

¿Alguien sabe si hubo escritores decadentes y/o góticos a finales del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX en Argentina? Son dos de mis géneros favoritos, pero los únicos escritores que conozco son Vizconde Lascano Tegui y Horacio Quiroga (argentino honorario).
