Idk but the other night, I incited the entities in my house to come find me. Gonna hang out tonight and see what happens. The other day, I noticed I could see my room with my eyes closed, like a blue and white light coming off everything very faintly. I focused in and saw i could see through walls. I assume it was the aether, or whatever lies in other dimensions beyond the veil.

Then, I noticed a figure hovering up the stairs in a cloak, and i noped hella fucking hard out lol. It is now midnight, and i feel it around this time. Everything gets colder.

Wish me luck!

>read Kybalion as a teen, made me interesting in occultism and religion
>got into Hermeticism and Jung
>got into Buddhism and Vajrayana esotericism
>changed my view of the world and don't regret it, is definitely a positive
>still addicted to gay porn and drugs and don't apply any of the teachings I've learned
These books are likely only important if you have a sense of discipline and actually work toward a semi-ascetic life driven by religious and esoteric principles. If you just want to read and be a coomer you may be destined to hell like me.

kek, it says in the Kabalion that ultimately it wont matter much if you don't actually PRACTICE the things. I don't think asceticism is necessary, just a tool that might make things easier as most things in life that aren't immediate needs (be it to stay alive, or for your purpose) serve as distractions in the long run.

yikes bro
apply at least something of what you learned.
unless you make it your reality at least a bit you don't "know" the things you studied.

it is better to know 1% of what you studied and apply that 1% than doing what you did, congrats

That's just New Thought. They're not particularly good outside of having "Law of Attraction" type manifesting but for men instead of 50 year old women. The problem is that ceremonial magic and energy work are far more powerful while things like Neoplatonism, Jungian Studies, and Perennial Philosophy offer you advanced metaphysics which will give you true insight and understanding. New Thought is okay to start with, but /fringe/ is dumb to think that New Thought is the beginning and end of esotericism.

I've tried reading the Kybalion a few times, but would always grow tired of it quite fast because the writing struck me as very amateurish. For such a short book, it's very padded. Just look at this paragraph.

>From old Egypt have come the fundamental esoteric and occult teachings which have so strongly influenced the philosophies of all races, nations and peoples, for several thousand years. Egypt, the home of the Pyramids and the Sphinx, was the birthplace of the Hidden Wisdom and Mystic Teachings. From her Secret Doctrine all nations have borrowed. India, Persia, Chaldea, Medea, China, Japan, Assyria, ancient Greece and Rome, and other ancient countries partook liberally at the feast of knowledge which the Hierophants and Masters of the Land of Isis so freely provided for those who came prepared to partake of the great store of Mystic and Occult Lore which the masterminds of that ancient land had gathered together.

It's a string of reiterations of the same thought, Egypt is the birthplace of occultism, written like student forced to meet a certain word-count. Does it get any better later on?

I can do this too, I thought I was just imagining things

>like a blue and white light coming off everything
I just see my room like I would if m eyes were open, mostly dark but can see where everything is

that's because nothing you read forced you to have fear of heaven, it was all secular garbage where you are your own god
The only thing that changed me was Judaism
