I don't get it

Just a fun pisstake of academic criticisim wrapped up in a spoopy story about a creepy house.

You choose where to stop your own journey into the house with how much analysis you wish to do of the text. You can take it at face value, or plunge ever deeper into picking it to pieces.

I have it but I haven’t read more than a few pages but I get it lol

There’s a Japanese Canadian writer who’s better for horror fiction but I can’t remember his name Kazuo Ishiguro

The guy who made the house fucked up the design.

Kazuo Ishiguro is British and I don't think he does horror? Probably one of the best alive authors atm though.

Don’t get why it’s called a horror story. There’s some scary stuff but everything involving the “narrator” and his mom was really sad.
