I hide 80% of the my friends on my news feed and have begun culling my list, used to have nearly 400, now got it nearer to 300, but if i were to only have people who I could chat with for more than 10 minutes, I would probably only have like 20.

I don't have Facebook and I really feel like not having a Facebook is a luxury than only really social young people can have.

I don't have best friends and only some people I may call friends perhaps. I didn't get a Facebook account because I don't want to be that "has 0 friends" account. But all the social events in the university where I could meet other people seem to be organized through Facebook. There was a class reunion, but I had no idea because it was only talked about through Facebook. I feel like half of social interaction goes on there.
