Audiobooks or actual people reading to them. Braille books are expensive and have a limites selection. People who are born blind tend not to be much into literature, mostly people who went blind during life.

An audiobook would probably a better idea. A book written in Braille would only remind her of her disability. Genuinely disabled people like being treated the same as the rest of humanity. She would like you better for not pinpointing something she is not proud of.

Ok, OP. Audiobooks are the way to go. I think it would be great if you recommended the YouTuber Paul Shallbetter, aka Uncle Squinty. As far as books go, I can only think of Homer because he is blind according to legend. I can't offer a genuine recommendation.

Story: I was in a philosophy class, teacher was a massive cunt, and the girl who sat next to me was blind. She typed notes in braille, which was cool. She also smelled like maple syrup, which was weird, but I'm familiar with fenugreek, which I suspect to be the cause. I wrote her name on the attendance sheet most days. That prof got angry in front of the class one day, prompted by nothing, because we had to read a different translation, since the teacher's preferred translation was not accessible to someone with disabilities.
A year ago, I matched with the blind girl on Tinder. I rarely got matches, even though I paid for Tinder and was on it plenty. We talked a bit. She remembered me. She was nice. It sounded like her parents were rich. I come from a family that became well-off but was kind of concerned about what sounded like a lot of money. Basically, I ghosted her. Actually, I wasn't quite as bad as that term indicates. I think I just was less proactive. My biggest reason for doing it is that I am basically a NEET, although I am a student. I have gained independence and ability over the years, but I am not a very capable man, particularly when it comes to day-to-day activities, the sort that would be extremely beneficial, if not necessary, to a blind person.
Now, I'm a bit saddened by the whole affair--as I was when I made the decision to be less talkative on Tinder. I may have been capable of being her boyfriend, and if I was, the relationship certainly would have done me a lot of good. She would have been great for conversation. I could have lost my virginity. Her and her needs would have helped to make me a better person. I wish you well, OP. And I hope all is well for Emma; she was a nice girl.
