hello /lit/

I was wondering if you could suggest any books that are meant to improve one's social skills. My social skills are passable, but I would like to become more charming and a better conversationalist. Does anyone know of any books like these?

Take a bottle of Rum, drink it, leave the house. talk to people.
After a few of these sessions you will be able to socialise without the rum.

Also: If you don't have friends already don't botehr because making friends with strangers outside of work when you're out of high school is awkward and ahrd.

Read and study Oscar Wilde, note aspects of hit charm and adopt his mannerisms. Becoming a homosexual is optional.

That's not true at all. Many of my good friends I met well after I graduated, and many I didn't meet at work.

Also, getting drunk isn't the best way to become charming. Ignore this man, op

They are easier to manipulate than normal people.

why is every "urban fiction" book like something a middle school student would write?

>protagonist is a "famous" singer/rapper/actor/actress/ad infinitum
>add in one-note villain
>happy ending

This, and "Mystery Method".
Not just great understanding of being a pick-up artist but an understanding of how and why it all works.
The Game is a fun little read on it's own and you can get a pretty quick idea of what it's all about form one point of view on multiple PUA techniques.

But as these books will lay out (Mystery Method more so), to improve one's social skill you need to go out and get your feet wet. Go to places you like, interests you, and avoid ones you don't (can't stand bars myself since there too load for me to hear anything anyway, I just stick to Jazz lounges and such).

Just realize tht most people are terrible conversationalists and can barely form coherent sentences nd that you're a lot better than them. That's it
