HEMA manuals.
Musashi does add some Buddhist fluff but it's hardly anything special, the book is a pretty awful read altogether because it was clearly meant to be demonstrated in person between two or more fighters.

I doubt it is really used or referenced at all - not just because Go Rin No Sho's value as pop psychology is extremely weak, but also because the Japanese love paying lip service to classic historical values like Bushido and Buddhist teachings but have no devotion to them in reality. Its just aesthetics for the sake of aesthetics.
