What's the best method of starting with the americans? What are the essential items (literature or otherwise) I need to understand them successfully?

Season 1 and 2 of Seinfeld are the worst seasons. Might as well include the Complete Works of Jerry Seinfeld (PBUH) yes that does include Bee Movie

This is a really bad chart. It's like you're trying to be uncharitable and make Americans look bad by including all the worst of American literature. For fucks sake, at least include a classic like Twilight. And it's really bad to recommend Dianetics to people just starting out. You should have chosen one of Hubbard's more accessible works like Scientology: The Fundamentals of Thought. Clearly whoever made this doesn't know their way around American literature and probably got filtered.
