19701532 No.19701532 [Reply] [Original]

Books for transcending reality? Can I freeze myself into a lucid dream coma? It's all so tiresome nowadays.

I saw reality from outside once. It is made of fractals.

I used to sleep as much as I could so I could dream as much as I could. I think that's as close as you could hope to get, unless you fry your brain

fractals are just sensual. that's what happens when you take drugs or are otherwise affected enough to be kicked out of your mind, literally: no filters, no measures, just sensual overload.
Reality itself is probably what we do see but not in a way we could imagine, because imaging a thing or seeing it only ever produces an image or a sensual input based on xyz; a hypothetical non sensual objective observer would *have* that same rock be in the way it is being to us, but everything about that rock could be entirely different; our tools and techniques expand on these by pure coincidence of our lack of imagination and variation, difference making out of the vast multiplicity fewer possibilities and at last actions, chances we took to make definite something. It would be more productive to believe in something like straying far enough with difference to create something new through something having become so alien from what it originally was, if such is possible, that it cannot be at all compared to said former thing, though there is clear history from it. Though it's pretty safe to say that something like form and shape are most difficult to have independent of that thing being, compared to color, touch, sound, weight etc. which are more highly subjective. It's a gradient and multiplicity, as with everything, really. How similar are we to the first sapients, to the first animals, to first life that you could say: yes, that is an early human; how similar are we to rocks that you would say: indeed, billions of years ago we *were* like that to some capacity.

Midwits like to point at some answer for these 'questions' which aren't questions at all; they're statements written in the form of questions which sadly for every schizo out there doesn't change the content or lack thereof.
