Traditionalist bros, I have finished some of both Evola's and Guenon's works.

I am intrigued by the idea of the "sacred science"; how every field of occupation had symbolism associated so that individuals could use their job to further their initiation.

Although I understand that this in its most vital sense is gone because there is no longer any unbroken chain of spiritual transmittance within the occupations, I was wondering if there were still any sources I could look into that simply showed the symbolism of each occupation. So that I can at least attribute more significant meaning to the profane things I do day to day.

The fields I would be particularly interested in Traditional symbolism of are medicine and economics.

just acknowledge that everything is a symbol

maybe in the west, but in places like japan and India this is well alive

for medicine just look at traditional systems like ayurveda (but careful where you look because there's a lot of crap about it )

A fragment of the tradition still survives in in the Hippocratic Oath.

As well as the Hippocratic corpus in general?

I said a fragment. It doesn't mean doctors are traditional, nor does it mean the tradition exists today.

I think you got it wrong. Only crafts can be used for initiation, which are the "job" of the third caste, working the fields as a peasant isn't related to any initiation. Modern jobs have nothing initiatic about them, they are simply profane. Guénon said that modern medicine was influenced by witchcraft and he refused to use it.
