I read translated poetry by first reading an English translation to get the feel and tone of the poem. Then, I proceed to walk briskly around my room reading the poem in the original language and chanting loudly how I believe the poem and language to be pronounced. Sometimes I really get really into it and start running, reading and chanting at the same time. Fuck you who say learn the language. I have more fun than any of you

>go into any shop with female shopkeepers whose husband isn't around
>start waving a faded receipt and yelling nonsense and pounding the counter
>wait until she screams back in immigrant gibberish
>keep yelling and pointing at eachother until i understand more and more of the language
>leave when she calls the police
>find another shop with unattended female shopkeeper
>begin again but this time use fragments of target language acquired from first language
>continue until language acquired
