On today's episode: five books I pulled out of the trash.

What do you think lit? The Steiner is quite rare too.

Right, lit stands for quality and sophistication.
Forget stacks, Thots, No GF, frog posting, what did i think of, discussing the same 3 meme books over and over again.

Dude the Steiner is fucking legendary

"The Portage generated considerable controversy because of its apparent "admiration for Hitler""

"Steiner not only lets Hitler justify his past, he allows him the (almost) last word before the outside world invades. The fact that Steiner was Jewish made this speech in particular even more contentious. One critic, while acknowledging that Steiner always saw Hitler as "the incarnation of unprecedented and unparalleled evil""

Someone threw out a whole bunch of books, mostly thrillers of various kinds, and these were the ones i knew would be interesting.

I have a huge edition of Shaw's plays but i thought a small 'travel' volume would be neat to have. Of Heller i only read Catch 22, and seeing that i liked it well rough i figured why not.

As >>19664055 said, the Steiner is quite interesting. Im already some 100 pages into it and i can see why people were worried antisemites might make use of it. I've read some of Steiner's work before so it's not exactly new.

Well,I mean you don't find stuff like that everyday, especially in trash cans. People usually aren't getting rid of their books in such a brutish manner. Basements-these are gold mines. Did the guy (It couldn't possibly be a woman),threw out more that you didn't pick up?
