Books about being betrayed by a woman

That's it. I want books where the protagonist (or one of the side characters, it just needs to be a significant part of the book), preferably a young man, is betrayed by his love interest in a brutal manner. I read The Sorrows of Young Werther and enjoyed it, but I need something that stings just a bit more. Something less romantic and more explicitly misogynistic. The scene in Serotonin where the main character discovers the pictures of his girlfriend was good as well, but it was too funny. The character who is cucked needs to experience the soul crushing pain, embarrassment, regret, jealousy, rage and similar feelings that unrequited love and/or romantic betrayal usually give rise to. Something like the pain Medea goes through upon discovering Jason's betrayal, only in a different context. Any suggestions?
