I wish that musical artists who make "Witch House" music would drop the trend of associating themselves, their music, and the genre itself, with Satanism, in any form.

E. M. Cioran for goth. But most witches aren’t goth. They’re more in tune with nature and all that paganism stuff

Imagine angsty teenagers reading Cioran. Imagine reading Cioran as an inexperienced and impressionable teenager. Imagine this ending well.

Nice, bruv. Been with Team Cioran from the beginning on this board as Camus minus the MoS cope. My current pick is Miguel de Unamuno.

Goth are nihilistic, depressed and can get suicidal. The aesthetics, playing at vampirism, satanism, the music, the fashion, kind of distracts them, gives them a reason to hang on. Then they find morbid friends who are turning into junkies and make it to 30.

Disgusting subhuman shitted on Cioran because she can't handle the nocturnal lucidity and now this whore is using him to gain internet points, pathetic.

My experience with goths has been otherwise. Especially with the new e-goth girls. Goth just became trendy and normie. Pop artists dress like goths now.

It is criminal how far electronic music has fallen in the last few decades.

Emo are anime fans redoing goth/manga fashion (Death Note, I think it was) it was a carbon copy.
True, “real goth” grew up or died, but has more life in its arts now. But every modern generation keeps getting über depressed and nihilistic, the goth fairies find them somehow.

Meh, I was really into Cioran as a teen and I didn't end up too badly. Ligotti, however, would've probably had a more adverse effect.

Man as I am approaching my late twenties, Cioran and Pascal are hitting harder and harder. I don't how Cioran lived with so much despair and vanity and still had the capacity to laugh at all the absurdity. Pascal became a blind follower of Christianity because he had the gift of faith.

How do you cope?
