Any non-meme book about destined enemies?
I am talking about themes here, not motivational meme books.
Also not a fan of fantasy.

Scipio was a punk ass bitch whose saving historical grace was that he came into the setting at the moment the Hannibal was pretty much gassed out. Put them in similar settings in equal terms and Hannibal breaks him.

Hannibal and the entire Roman world would be a better use of "destined enemies".

Has anybody read Taiko? That whole era of warring states sounds very intriguing (to read about. I would hate to live through it)

Another excellent manga about samurai who really hate each other is Shigurui, which is based on a novel of the same name by Norio Nanjō. I have only been able to find it in Spanish, so unless you can speak the language this suggestion won't help. At least you can read the manga.

Content wise it's pretty easy to handle. The pacing is off in a lot of points due to the nature of novels that were originally written in a serialized format
Pretty neat seeing the differences between novel and manga. Kojiro is an entirely different character
